Surge Protection

Please first locate the model number on the back of the power board. Check the warranty from the warranties page. If the product is under warranty period the you will also require a copy of their receipt as proof of purchase. Please then return the power board to their place of purchase and ask the retailer to replace the power board.

Alternatively, if you cannot for some reason return the power board to the retailer can call crest to discuss your options further.

The Joule rating on a power board refers to the level of surge protection offered by the power board. A joule is a measure of energy absorption in this context. The higher the number the larger the capability of the surge protection module in the power board to be able to absorb large electrical power surges.

In the Crest range, the highest Surge protection available is in PPBS7CT - 3672 Joules.
